Scientists from and working in developing countries, who want to undertake a two month visit in 2023 at their alma mater (but not only) in Europe (excluding Italy), North America or a more advanced developing country, should apply to the APS-EPS-ICTP Travel Award Fellowship Programme (ATAP).

Four grants are available for use in 2023, and the Programme is now accepting applications.

Persons interested in applying need to send:

  • their complete CV
  • publications list
  • letter of reference
  • letter of agreement and endorsement from the host laboratory that includes a short description of the research to be carried out during the two-month visit and stating how this visit will enhance the applicant's own research and career
  • a one-page budget plan evaluating the travel and local expenses and specifying the person/institution who will manage the funds in the host country.

The above material should be sent to itlabs@ictp.it with the subject line "ATAP Fellowships" by 31 March 2023.
