ICTP and the Developing World

Since its inception, ICTP’s mission has been to foster sustainable science throughout the developing world. In this way, the Centre has helped to reduce the great educational and scientific divide between developed and developing countries. ICTP has a long tradition of scientific capacity building in developing countries, supporting numerous activities there, from training programmes and the creation of research networks to the establishment of partner institutes.
