Joint ICTP-UniTS Postdoctoral Fellowship on Machine Learning for Advanced Scientific Instrumentation

The Science, Technology and Innovation Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Trieste, seeks applications from outstanding young scientists with a strong research record for a postdoctoral position on machine learning for advanced scientific instrumentation, starting in Summer 2023.

The candidates must have practical experience in machine learning and model compression techniques for reconfigurable hardware accelerators, such as FPGA-SoC, with especial focus on signal processing for particle and radiation detectors, and on image processing and understanding for precision agriculture.
