Call for Proposals, 2026 Scientific Calendar Activities

Each year, ICTP brings together thousands of world-leading and early-career physicists and mathematicians from over 150 countries to participate in advanced workshops and conferences taking place either at ICTP's premises in Trieste or at other outside venues, usually in developing or emerging countries.

ICTP is now accepting proposals for the 2026 Scientific Calendar activities. The submission deadline is 31 March 2025. Applications must be submitted online.

Add to ICTP's calendar of rich scientific conferences, schools and workshops by submitting your proposal. The activities are selected on the basis of scientific novelty, impact on the international community, with special emphasis on collaboration with scientists from the Global South. Topics shall not be restricted to theory and can include basic training for younger scientists as well as hands-on training.
