ICTP Announces its 2026 Scientific Calendar

ICTP has announced its programme of scientific conferences, schools and workshops for 2026 on topics related to its research fields, in addition to a series of conferences run jointly with the IAEA, ICTP's UN partner. Some 42 activities are planned at ICTP's campus in Trieste, while another 16 will be held in locations in developing or emerging countries around the world.

Each year, ICTP brings together thousands of world-leading and early-career physicists and mathematicians to participate in advanced workshops and conferences. In 2024, more than 5,000 participants from 144 countries attended ICTP's activities; 65% of them were from developing and least-developed countries.
