ICTP in Libya

ICTP is helping to promote physics and mathematics in Libya by co-sponsoring a conference on basic science. A group of ICTP scientists are lecturing at the event, representing several fields of research in physics and math. Among the many objectives of the conference are to strengthen the quality of teaching and researching in basic sciences, and to establish closer links between Libyan universities and international research centres.  The conference meets from 25 to 27 April at the University of AL-Jabal Al-Gharbi.
