Faheem Hussain

It is with great sorrow that ICTP announces the death of colleague Faheem Hussain, who passed away on Tuesday, 29 September. Faheem officially joined ICTP in 1990, though he had been a regular visitor to the institute since its inception. A former Associate and a member of the High Energy Physics group, Faheem also coordinated ICTP's Diploma Programme and headed the Office of External Activities. He was always a strong and vocal advocate for the promotion of science in developing countries and for a just and proper treatment of all. ICTP will remember him as a devoted friend.
