Seminars

High Energy seminars are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 14:30 p.m. in the Luigi Stasi Seminar Room (1st floor).

Informal seminars may also take place on Mondays and Fridays in the Euler Lecture Hall (Lower level '0').

String seminars in Trieste is a monthly activity organized jointly by the High Energy Physics groups of ICTP and SISSA. Each event consists of two seminars given by two external speakers. The aim is to gather all theoretical physicists working in string theory and related topics in the Trieste area, and have the opportunity to get updated on what's going on in our field world-wide. The seminars take place either at ICTP or SISSA, alternately. 

All seminars are announced on the High Energy board (2nd floor, near the High Energy Secretariat), and on ICTP notice boards.

ICTP is also happy to share information about activities hosted by its joint institute with Trieste science centres, the Institute for Fundamental Physics of the Universe (IFPU). IFPU Colloquia are seminars intended for a broad audience on topics related to the IFPU research lines. The venue for IFPU Colloquia is Lecture Hall D, in the basement of the former SISSA Main Bldg. Please check here for more information on all activities taking place at IFPU.
